Tyler Steindorf is a Partner and Head of Capital Markets at MSIG where he is responsible for all capital markets activities at both a platform level and across the firm’s portfolio investments.

In addition to leading capital markets, Tyler is actively involved in developing and implementing the firm’s investment theses, strategies, and verticals. Tyler works closely with the asset management team to mitigate risk and ensure that the firm’s investment portfolios conform to concentration and return targets set by the Executive Committee.

Tyler has been actively involved in the sourcing, diligence and execution of 58 direct joint venture investments with a total value exceeding $3 billion.

Prior Experience

Prior to forming MSIG, Tyler was an Executive Director on the investment team at Township Capital where he was responsible for sourcing and executing opportunistic equity investments and managing the firm’s capital markets activities. Tyler oversaw the structuring of more than $600 million of property-level debt financing across the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to Township, Tyler worked at Wedgewood, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager based in Los Angeles. Tyler worked closely with the origination and asset management teams across the firm’s bridge lending and distressed verticals.

Education

Tyler received a B.A. with a concentration in International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles.
