Ryan Wafer

Senior Associate, Asset Management

Ryan Wafer is a Senior Associate on MSIG’s asset management team and is primarily responsible for the ongoing asset- and portfolio-level management across its verticals.

Ryan will be actively involved in managing the operations of the firm’s portfolio and will work closely with the senior asset management team, investment team and property management teams, as well as the firm’s joint venture partners to mitigate risk and optimize business plan execution.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining MSIG, Ryan was an Associate on Greystar’s asset management team in Denver, CO where he oversaw a principally-owned portfolio across the Western U.S. and Canada comprised of approximately 8,200 rental housing units with a gross asset value of approximately $4.8 billion.

Prior to Greystar, Ryan worked on Newmark’s industrial investment sales platform in Denver, CO where he was part of one of the top producing teams nationally.

Education

Ryan received a B.S. in Strategic Advertising and a minor in Real Estate and Financial Analytics from the University of Colorado, Boulder as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate from the Leeds School of Business.
