Spencer Myers

Director, Investments

Spencer Myers is a Director on MSIG’s investment team and is primarily responsible for sourcing and executing new joint venture investments for the firm’s opportunistic equity platform.

Spencer is actively involved in the day-to-day management of MSIG’s internal due diligence processes and prospective investment analyses. Spencer works closely with the firm’s Executive Committee and asset management team to ensure a seamless execution of MSIG’s portfolio throughout the investment cycle.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining MSIG, Spencer was Vice President of Acquisitions at a Los Angeles-based real estate private equity firm where he oversaw the sourcing, diligence and structuring of the firm’s opportunistic and value-add investments. Through his tenure, Spencer sourced and underwrote more than $1 billion of prospective investments.

Spencer was actively involved in the ongoing asset management of the firm’s holdings across several investment funds and separately managed accounts, comprised of 13,000+ residential units and more than 8 million SF of commercial space.

Education

Spencer received a B.A. with a concentration in Economics and minor in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.
