Troy Hoffman

Senior Vice President, Asset Management

Troy Hoffman is a Senior Vice President on MSIG’s asset management team and is primarily responsible for overseeing the firm’s ongoing asset- and portfolio-level management across its verticals.

Troy leads the firm’s asset management team and actively manages the operations of the firm’s portfolio, working closely with the investment team and Executive Committee, as well as the firm’s joint venture partners and stakeholders to generate superior risk-adjusted returns.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining MSIG, Troy was a Director on Greystar’s asset management team where he managed an eight-person team that oversaw a principally-owned portfolio comprised of more than 8,500 rental housing units with a gross asset value of approximately $5 billion.

Prior to Greystar, Troy worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Newmark in Denver, CO where he analyzed more than $5.5 billion of rental housing communities across the Western U.S. Prior to Newmark, Troy was an associate at Dimension Fund Advisors’ Bank & Trust Group in Austin, TX.

Education

Troy received a B.S. with a concentration in Finance from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business in Oxford, OH.
