Monument Square Investment Group and JDI Realty Joint Venture Acquires Maison Burbank, a 532-bed Student Housing Community Serving Louisiana State University

A partnership between affiliates of Monument Square Investment Group (“MSIG”) and JDI Realty, Inc. (collectively the “JV”) has acquired Maison Burbank (the “Property”). The Property is a 1996-vintage, 532-bed (134-unit) garden-style student housing community in a pedestrian location approximately 0.7 miles south of the Louisiana State University (“LSU”) campus, which is also accessible through the Tiger Trails Transit shuttle system. The Property is primarily comprised of 1,200 SF four-bedroom floorplans that were renovated in 2017 and provide very strong value to LSU students. As of the JV’s acquisition, the Property was 99.2% occupied for the 2025-2026 academic year (“AY”). LSU has experienced strong application and enrollment growth in recent years, with record setting applications, total enrollment and freshman enrollment for 11, six and eight consecutive AYs, respectively.
